Wow wow wow. What a great experience. From the time we arrive to the time we left. The service was impeccable. Do you know how long it has been since we have dined at a restaurant that everyone from the hostess to the busboys were amazing. They are caring and trained. Wow!! Ok the food, was OUTSTANDING. The little touches that they do makes them stand out. (Don’t want to say, want you to be surprised) We will definitely be back.

Some of the finest food and drinks I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. Nearly everything was top-notch, especially the filet mignon.

We haven't been to Hawks for many years but needed to celebrate a special, occaision, so we came here. Instantly greeted and seated. Friendly staff and very attentive waiter and crew. Beautiful decore. The food was absolutely delicious. I thought I was in a Michelin starred restaurant. I'll keep my comments short, but I was brought up in a household where my mom was classically trained at Cordon Bleu in Paris so I've experienced culinary delights. Hawks is one of them.

We were wondering what it would be like as we drove up from Sacramento. We were in town for a couple of nights and wanted to try something interesting. Arriving we didn’t immediately see it, discretely tucked in the corner. But on entering we discovered a nicely decorated environment with a great atmosphere. The hostesses were friendly and we were seated. Mike looked after us very well and explained the menu, while being quite small was very interesting, like the wine list. We had a great meal, an excellent bottle and enjoyed ourselves. Just one thing, the Grand Marnier Soufflé is a vanilla Soufflé which gad no hint of the orange liqueur. This should be poured, flambéed into the soufflé at serving, but was sadly absent! Apart from that, great!

Elegant setting, superb food and exquisite service. Very dignified setting with clever and well crafted food. The duck confit was a real hit. Innovative cocktails. Low key and elegant without being stuffy. Superb and friend,y service. Loved everything from beginning to end. Ice views as well.

We went here for dinner on a work trip. For sure it had the best food we'd eaten on our trip, but it was a bit pricey (as expected). Even though we were really under dressed, the staff made us feel at home. We weren't planning on eating here while out on another adventure - it was suggested to us, and glad we took it. Reservations strongly encouraged. Food was phenomenal to say the least.

Again, best friend visiting, best restaurant to treat her, especially as a .formerly San Francisco resident! We LOVE this restaurant.....The atmosphere is comfortable/elegance! Start to finish ! Our waiter Chad was great! Should I have steak or short rib? “ My 2 favorite menu items he said! If you like your beef well done, get the short ribs, if you like medium rare get the steak...Bahm, easy choice and delicious! I was between scallops, and duck confit...Chad: right now the duck is a favorite among guests! Sold! and worth very scrumptious bite! We are so lucky to have such great food in Roseville Ca!

Another superb meal. Started with a delicious mushroom soup. We split a excellent caesar salad served cold And crisp. My wife had the fresh ahi and pork chop with a terrific sauce. The short ribs are always excellent, served with hot potatoe puree. Just perfectly presented. The best local bistro.

5 of us gathered for dinner to honor my son. We had a heavenly dinner...We ordered tuna tartare, caesars, mushroom soups and gnocchi to start. Each were prepared flawlessly. Bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, seasonal/local ingredients, and very tasty. Could have hardly been better... Our entrees were also exceptional. Black cod, short ribs, chicken. Black cod is new to the menu and it is mouth-watering. The chicken is moist with deep flavor. We took it easy on dessert and ordered simply: beignets and ice cream... Emma provided engaged, helpful and attentive service despite the fact she probably had 1 too many tables. I have eaten at Hawks over 100 times, mostly at lunch. It's ambience is nice, if a little worn. The service is often over-staffed. Rarely will you wait too long for a request. The kitchen is pretty much state-of-the art. The owners Michael/Molly are fanatical about quality. Our meal at Hawks last night may have been the finest we experienced the past 10 years. Hawks is still humming... Recommended...

A++ from arrival to departure! This restaurant is what fine dining is meant to be. We don’t have to travel for top notch dining! The tuna tartare, salads, filet, short ribs and gelato made for a very special anniversary dinner and cannot wait to return! Thank you Hawks!

Nice looking restaurant - but service is horrible - Sunday morning brunch took a long time to get the food - If it wasn't that I have still money left in the certificate, I would not go back. Food is OK but service suclks.

My son and daughter-in-law were visiting from the East Coast. We sent them here for an anniversary dinner. 1. They were asked 6 times (by different people) if it was there first time there. 2. They wanted to order the tasting menu, but wanted one of the wines changed. (This has never been a problem when they've eaten at high end restaurants in SF, NYC, DC, Paris, London, etc.) 3. The server said he had to get permission from the manager (they thought ok, or we'll just not order the tasting menu). 4. They said the food was good, but the attitude brought it down to just an average. They both said that it's just a restaurant in Granite Bay trying to act like they are a Michelin Star restaurant from a big city. Funny thing is, this is exactly the same experience my hubby and I had a few months earlier.

Great fresh food and the creme bruise is to die for. Highly recommend and in the heart of downtown.............

Horrible service and my fish was so fishy🤢 Nothing good came from this restaurant as we were a table of 12 and no one liked their meal

The food and ambiance here was good but not worth the price. There are other places in the area with better food
